Whatever your IT department provides in terms of general support for the maintenance of your in-house servers, including storage, backup, archiving, retrieval and deletion, there will be aspects of the Diver installations that can or will be supported by DBI.
These include:
- Monitoring of update process logs and correction of issues as they arise. Such that the system is 100% up to date each morning.
- Investigation of Control / integrity issues are they arise, or as flagged by the automated processes or your in-house coordinator.
- Issues related to core product resilience.
- Monitoring of machine performance, space usage.

Attendance on site requires 24 hour notice for Monday to Friday attendance.
Telephone response to support queries is immediate and work is prioritised according to its urgency. Access to the server on which an application resides will usually only require remote access but if an on- site presence it the only option and whilst in certain cases this may be possible the same day, DBI will commit to a 24 notice period.
Attendance or telephone support is not available outside of working hours except by prearrangement.
We anticipate that the automated control procedures recommended in the design of the Diver application will ensure its stability.
We design systems as far as possible that automate weekly, monthly & yearly procedures. In other words the same thing happens every day and we do not have issues related to period end process that other computer systems (especially transactional) might have.
Equally we design systems so that if a failure were to occur in any part of the process, it can be restarted without any requirement for “Restores”. This is a major saving of time and effort on behalf of both DBI and our customers.

Dimensional Insight provides updates, fixes, and enhancements as new features become available under the annual support and maintenance agreement available to our customers.
The software download and installation process includes a complete set of product component reference manuals (PDFs).
Point releases occur approximately every four months with full version releases every twelve months. The Diver Solution & Diver Platform protect customer investments in their existing hardware environment by ensuring compatibility with most major platforms and operating systems.
