Score from the Bench with Diveport | iN

Monday 27th June 2016

As football fever grips European nations, the importance of being able to get goals when it counts will determine who walks off with the Henri Delaunay Trophy. The ability to set and achieve goals is as important to our business managers as planning the strategy and tactics required to achieve the winning goals in Euro 2016.  You can now give your team the ability to set goals both at home and away with Diver BI’s new DivePort | iN portlets.

Setting Dashboard Goals

Dashboards can provide businesses with important KPIs and metrics to monitor performance against set targets and goals. But without relevant and up-to-date targets the metrics are meaningless.

DivePort | iN is Diver BI’s new data capture and input technology which allows users to enter data directly into DivePort, and this data can then be updated to your back end databases.  Using Input Tables and the new Table Editor Portlet, budget and performance goals can be set directly through DivePort from any device and any location.

Making Changes on the Road

In order to achieve these goals, sales reps spend a great deal of their time on the road meeting new and existing customers, working to secure new business and negotiate deals and rates.  Any additions or amendments to the data that arise from these meetings must be made directly to the database when the sales reps are back in the office. Wouldn’t it be great to eliminate the paperwork and allow users to make amendments to the data directly from Diver?

With Diver BI’s new Input Tables and portlet click actions, it is possible to give users the ability to add or edit records in a table while away from the office.  While on the road sales reps could add potential new customers to the database or amend product prices as negotiated with customers without having to wait until they return to the office. This is almost like having the ability to score from the bench!

DivePort | iN opens up the possibility of developing your own in-house, purpose built applications without having to make huge investments into new systems or software.  The ability to create customisable forms gives DivePort | iN the flexibility for tailor-made applications specific to your business requirements. There is no limit to the possibilities of how this software can be used – from uploading images, creating questionnaires, keeping CRM data etc etc. Why not ask for a demo?
